The company
The Invisible Curriculum is an independent career-research and learning company examining the systems that shape fashion careers.
It maps how work is changing, which skills are gaining value and how professionals can move towards the roles the industry will need next.
The company builds practical career infrastructure from this research, helping people understand changing roles, translate the experience they already have and make more informed decisions about what comes next.
An evolving practice
Established in 2026. Developing since 2022.
The white paper Bridging the Mentorship Gap was published, extending the practice into fashion education through the Amsterdam Fashion Academy. The work was also recognised through the University of Amsterdam's Impact Maker programme.
The practice reached wider educational, editorial and industry audiences through the Warsaw School of Economics and Fashion Management Club, Vogue Polska's Business Fashion Environment Summit and Harper's Bazaar Netherlands.
Programmes and collaborations with Modefabriek, Copenhagen Fashion Week, the Graduate Fashion Foundation, Soho House Amsterdam and Amsterdam Fashion Week brought the work into industry, talent and public conversations. The Invisible Curriculum was formally established to develop this practice through research, career tools and long-term partnerships.
